ANOKA, Minn — A Fridley man will likely serve the remainder of his life in prison after being convicted of a 2024 execution-style triple murder that claimed the life of a Coon Rapids woman , her husband and her 20-year-old son.

An Anoka County jury on Friday found Alonzo Pierre Mingo guilty of four separate counts of first-degree murder, either with premeditation or intent. Mingo was also convicted on two counts of second-degree murder and multiple counts of aiding and abetting murder.

Coon Rapids police were called to a home on the 200 block of 94th Avenue Northwest just before 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 26, 2024, after dispatchers received a 911 call with a female voice in the background of what sounded like a domestic situation.
