CINCINNATI (ENQUIRER) - Unless something dramatic happens, Cincinnati City Council on Sept. 4 will repeal the controversial Hyde Park Square zoning change that would have allowed a controversial residential and commercial development , according to our partners at the Cincinnati Enquirer .
That means there will not be a referendum on the November ballot.
The developers still plan to move forward with a project for Hyde Park Square, a spokesperson told The Enquirer.
How did Cincinnati City Council vote on Hyde Park zoning repeal?
All nine Cincinnati City Council members unanimously voted Sept. 2 to repeal the zoning ordinance. It was a vote in the council’s Budget and Finance Committee, so they have to vote on it again Sept. 4.
It doesn’t appear they’ll change their minds.
