BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Authorities are investigating a pedestrian struck on Florida Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.

According to emergency medical services, they responded to a crash near Florida Boulevard and Little John Drive around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, first responders learned that a pedestrian had been hit. The person was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
