Qantas has announced that it will be expanding its nonstop route from Perth International Airport to Rome Fiumicino Airport in 2026. The 8,300-mile route was the first non-stop flight from Australia to continental Europe when it was launched a few years ago, and is one of the Top 20 longest commercial routes in the world. Now the seasonal summer route will get an additional 44 flights as it is extended in duration and an additional weekly flight is added.
