CLINTON, Maine (WABI) - Clinton Police are looking for information after multiple shots were fired Monday night, with one bullet going into a house.

They say someone was firing shots out of a car’s passenger window between 300 and 400 Canaan Road.

Police say it happened between 8:30 and 9 p.m. and believe those responsible were traveling toward Canaan at the time.

Clinton Police have since recovered numerous shell casings in the area.

According to officials, no one was injured.

Police say they don’t know why the shots were fired.

Anyone with information or camera footage is asked to call Clinton Police at 426-9192 and ask for Detective Sergeant Smith.

Clinton PD also asks those in the area to remain vigilant and report suspicious vehicles and activity.
