A New Haven teen who was arrested by federal immigration officials in July has been released from custody, according to the organization CT Students for a Dream.
After 44 days in custody, Esdras R., 18, of New Haven, was released Tuesday after posting a $1,500 bond in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Esdras R., 18, of New Haven was arrested on July 21 at his workplace in Southington under workplace enforcement operations by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials (ICE), according to ICE officials.
He was first detained in a detention facility in Massachusetts before being moved to New Hampshire and as of Wednesday, July 30, he was in a detention facility in Louisiana.
