CARBONDALE, Ill. (WSIL) -- A motorcycle crash in Carbondale resulted in the death of a young man from Anna.

On August 30, Carbondale police responded to the 800 block of East Walnut Street for a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Police said the driver was Raiden Webster, 20 of Anna, which struck a curb and caused him to be ejected from his bike.

Officers found Webster unresponsive and performed life-saving measures. He was then transported to the emergency room, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities reported no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
