SUMTER, S.C. (WIS) - Two people have been charged after a Monday night shooting in Sumter that left one person hurt.
The Sumter Police Department said 25-year-old Blake Drown and 26-year-old Summer Holliday were arrested Tuesday.
Police said Drown and Holliday were reportedly arguing with the victim on the 1300 block of Broad Street outside a vehicle parked in the woodline behind several businesses.
The two allegedly sped off after the victim was shot, but were later taken into custody in the area of Mooneyham Road.
Drown is charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, while Holliday is charged with accessory after the fact. Records show they were both booked at the Sumter County Detention Center.
