HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Folks throughout Appalachia and beyond are continuing to honor WYMT Chief Forecaster Brandon Robinson.

Coworkers like former Assistant News Director Kyle Collier said Brandon always brought love, laughs, and impactful moment to the WYMT team.

“To call him an angel would be an understatement,” Collier said. “He finally got his wings.”

Collier said during every severe weather threat, Brandon would be on alerting the viewers to every danger ahead.

“Whenever we would learn about those people that passed, Brandon would literally afterwards sit there and cry over it and he still brings those moments up today,” Collier said.

With an undeniable love for all things Christmas, Collier said he always called Brandon ‘WYMT Santa Claus.’
