HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Wednesday’s shower activities will carry into Thursday.

DISCUSSION:

Some folks may see rain chances starting on Wednesday morning, but these chances will increase throughout the day. Temperatures in the middle of the week will reach the upper 70s during the warmest parts of the day, which is still significantly cooler than what we typically expect for this time of year.

Overnight temperatures will drop to the low 60s. As we move into Thursday morning, rain chances will begin to rise. Strong storms are expected to move through the region in the afternoon and evening, with the main impact in the mountains being elevated wind gusts. Due to the rain, high temperatures for the day will be in the mid-70s.
