(WPRI) — School is back in session in Massachusetts and starting this academic year, the MCAS will no longer be used as a graduation requirement.
Massachusetts Education Secretary Patrick Tutwiler joined 12 News at 4 Tuesday to share more about what graduation requirements may replace the standardized test.
Tutwiler also talked about how the state is reacting to potential funding cuts, and new learning programs being rolled out.
