WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - In a decade’s time, Cory Buie has painted plenty of football fields. This year, his new focus is South Central, after joining the coaching staff that his brother, Ryan, is the new head coach of.

Previously a plain field with no logos or endzone designs, the Falcons’ home field has been upgraded, and elevates the feel of their games.

“It’s really exciting to see the kids come out and see their field painted like this,” Buie said, “it brings a whole other level of energy to their way of playing.”

“Before we didn’t have the ‘SC’ it was just like you were playing on a regular field,” Quarterback Jaylen Butts said, “But now we have ‘SC’, we represent something, and let ‘em know, that it’s our home, and nobody can take it.”
