Man arrested in Baltimore shooting that left 26-year-old wounded on Edmondson Avenue
BALTIMORE, MD – A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection with a shooting that left a 26-year-old man injured earlier this month in Baltimore’s Western District.
James Barrett of Baltimore was taken into custody by Warrant Apprehension detectives on Friday in the 3100 block of Stafford Street. He was later transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and officially charged in the August 8 shooting.
The investigation began after Western District officers responded to an area hospital around 10:12 p.m. on August 8, where a 26-year-old male had arrived seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. Medical personnel described the injury as non-life-threa
