Work to cause delays near Cuesta Grade this week

Vegetation removal and sweeping work near the top of the Cuesta Grade may cause delays for some drivers this week.

On Wednesday, one southbound lane will be closed from the top of the grade to Highway 58 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

On Thursday, the closure will move to the other side, affecting one southbound lane during the same hours and in the same location.

While delays are likely, they are not expected to exceed 20 minutes, according to Caltrans.
