BULLHEAD CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the jet ski rider involved in a crash that seriously injured two children over the weekend on the Colorado River.

Deputies said around 2 p.m. on Sunday, they were called out to the Davis Camp launch ramp in Bullhead City , where they found a 16-year-old boy and his 10-year-old sister hurt.

Deputies said the boy was taken by ambulance before being flown to a Las Vegas hospital, while the girl was also hospitalized in Las Vegas. Both are now in stable condition.

According to deputies, it started when the pair were going slowly in the middle of the river when another jet ski rider hit their jet ski from behind.
