LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - With Kent State breaking a 21-game losing skid Saturday, a 21-17 win over Merrimack, Texas Tech players Tuesday stated they are still preparing hard for the Golden Flashes, a team still not to be overlooked.

Offensive lineman Will Jados and wide receiver Reggie Virgil are well-familiar with Kent State. While playing for Miami of Ohio last season, both players guided the RedHawks to a 34-7 win. Jados says this group coming to Lubbock Saturday will not be the same team.
