A Fort Wayne man who was initially charged for a violent attack at Pikes Pub has sued the woman who identified him as involved for defamation.
Kent A. Adamonis of Hoagland was charged with felony battery resulting in serious bodily injury and misdemeanor criminal recklessness stemming from a May 30 assault of James Simmons. Adamonis was cleared as a suspect when charges against him were dismissed one day after his arrest.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor Tom Chaille’s motion said in June the choice was made because further investigation showed “it is in the interest of justice to dismiss this case at this time.”
Adamonis two weeks ago filed a complaint asking for $10,000 and $125 in court costs in Allen Superior Court’s Small Claims Division. Small claims allow people to file claims of up to $10
