SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A few showers and storms will be possible across the region this evening but most of these should quickly dissipate by sunset. Overall, it should be a quiet night with temperatures eventually falling into the upper 60s and low 70s.

From Wednesday through Friday, we’ll see a warming trend along with more sunshine. Temperatures will return to the mid and upper 90s for the second half of the week. Humidity will creep up just enough to allow feels like temperatures to approach 100.

Looking ahead to the weekend, another cold front will sweep south across the ArkLaTex bringing another shot of cooler air. In addition, an upper level system will approach from Texas bringing a return of scattered storms starting late Saturday and continuing into early next week. Temperatu
