EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) - One person went to the hospital after a house fire in Edmond Tuesday morning.
"I pretty much woke up to my Ring doorbell notification, and I looked at it, and there's like five fire trucks outside,” neighbor Glenn Stowe said. “Whole bunch of commotion going on outside and a lady on a stretcher in my driveway."
It would be a few hours before that scene would clear in front of Stowe’s home near Danforth and Fretz in Edmond.
"Then we just sat in the window,” Stowe said. “Me and my girlfriend just watched."
It was about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, when Edmond fire crews responded to the home that was caddy corner to Stowe’s.
"Initially, we had heavy smoke, heavy fire coming from one of the windows of the structure,” Lt. Taylor Mick with the Edmond Fire Dept. said.
