TULSA, Okla. (KFOR) - Abandoned animals in Tulsa have been rescued after found in deplorable conditions according to a local Bristow Barnyard Animal Rescue officials.

First reported by Fox 23, the Bristow Barnyard Animal Rescue assisted with the animal recovery operations located in the Slick, Oklahoma.

Beth Roberts, President of Bristow Barnyard Animal Rescue, says many of them are 10-month-olds fighting for their lives after being abandoned by their owner.

“She had found a dog on a chain that was pretty emaciated, left behind when the tenant moved out and wanted me to go check on it,” said Beth. “So we met there in Slick and we found the dog immediately, and then upon looking, we found another dog tied to a tree, and then another dog chained to a tree.”
