BARRY COUNTY, Mo. — A Barry County man has been arrested following a confrontation on Sunday, August 31.

According to online court dockets, Jeremy Cass Andrews, born 1970, of Monett, has been charged with first-degree harassment, two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

The probable cause statement says the Monett Police Department responded to a disturbance reported on Sunday afternoon.

The victim told police that he was taking out the trash when Andrews approached him on the side of his apartment with a knife.

Andrews was reported to have come over with a six-inch folding knife, pointing it at the victim's throat, while screaming expletives.
