SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Springfield Police have confirmed to OzarksFirst that Harland King has been charged with two counts of first-degree domestic assault and two counts of armed criminal action, after two women were taken to the hospital after being stabbed Tuesday morning in northwest Springfield.

According to online court records, one victim told SPD that King stabbed her and had multiple significant injuries.

A second victim told SPD that when King was inside the home, he stabbed her before running to another room to begin stabbing the first victim.

SPD's report says officers found King in the bushes of a property some distance west of the crime scene.

Police say King stabbed himself in the chest, and officers were able to find the knife on him, and SPD says King confessed to the crim
