PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - With schools now in session throughout Central Illinois, students may already be facing back-to-school jitters.
OSF Behavioral Healthcare experts say anxiety can stem from children changing their routines for the school year, making new friends, and or starting a new school.
Aljzeera reported that so far in 2025, there were between eight and 146 gun-related incidents at schools across the United States.
