Firefighters continue to battle the Catlin Fire near Catlin Canyon and the Durr Road Fire, each estimated to have burned 81 acres.

The cause of these fires is still under investigation.

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Fire crews are battling the Catlin Canyon fire northwest of Ellensburg.

Estimated to be 20 acres, the blaze is burning in heavy sage brush, grass shrub and timber, according to Kittitas Valley Fire and Rescue (KVFR).

Kittitas County Sheriff's Office stated that there are no evacuations currently, but deputies are in the area to notify residents if conditions change.

KVFR is providing mutual aid resources, with air resources arriving on the scene for fire suppression.

KVFR has also responded to another brush fire on Durr Road, approximately 30 acr
