The initial draft of Maryland's long-range transportation plan includes full funding for a project to widen U.S. 15 through the city of Frederick, maintaining funding for Frederick County's top transportation priority.

The state's draft Consolidated Transportation Plan released Tuesday includes full funding for the $177.9 million project to widen the highway from four lanes to six through the city from Interstate 70 to Md. 26.
