LOS ANGELES -- Cameron Mathison of "General Hospital" has been a working actor for decades.

His 2025 started out rough. Sadly, he lost his home in the Eaton Fire in Southern California. His work has kept him going, and "GH" gave his character Drew a storyline to sink his teeth into.

"It's been months and months and months in the making. They had to make Drew really despicable!" laughed Mathison.

"General Hospital" has a doozy of a cliffhanger in its storyline, with Mathison's character Drew Cain getting shot. Expect weeks of a major "who done it?" drama. For those around in 1980, it's reminiscent of the popular nighttime series, "Dallas."
