CHICAGO (WGN) — Two beloved husky pups have vanished from their Southwest Side home, leaving their owner, and even their parents, heartbroken.

Peluche and Junior, both Siberian huskies, disappeared on Thursday, Aug. 29, near West 53rd Street and South Justine Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, their owner said.

Junior is tan and white with blue eyes, while Peluche is also tan and white but smaller and known for his sweet personality.

Since their disappearance, the dogs’ parents, Simba and Nala, have been noticeably sad, refusing to eat or come inside, according to their owner. Instead, they wait outside for their pups to return.

Their owner is asking for help to bring Peluche and Junior home. Anyone with information is urged to contact 773-600-0305 or 773-551-0346.
