Organizers of Indivisible Sequim’s “Workers Over Billionaires” rally on Labor Day at the intersection of West Washington Street and North Priest Road saw about 2,000 people attend.
The nonviolent protest, organizers said, was part of a movement to put working people over corporate greed, and to demand an economy that works for all.
More than 2,000 people attended the Indivisible Sequim’s protest at the intersection of Washington Street and Priest Road on Labor Day, Sept. 1. Organizers had crossing guards to ensure everyone can express their right to assembly in a civil and respectful manner.
