Bobby McIlvaine scored his first goal of the season for Haddon Township in a 2-0 shutout against Pitman in its season opener in Westmont.

Collin Feeley recorded six saves for Haddon Township (1-0) for his first shutout of the season.

McIlvaine scored in the first half off a pass from Brody Beals. Later in the half, Eamonn Sheehan knocked in another goal for Haddon Township after Danny McIlvaine moved the ball to Sheehan.

Haddon Township wins its first season opener since the 2022 season and recorded its first shutout in a season opener since 2020.

Pitman falls to 0-1.
