Edinburgh RNLI crews received a 999 call to rescue a group stranded in the water on Saturday.
Queensferry volunteers were made aware at 1.58pm on August 30, of occupants of a small vessel that had suffered engine failure.
With three people on board, it drifted onto rocks on the south side of Inchcolm Island prompting the emergency call.
Once on scene, the casualties were fit and well. The vessel had not suffered any damage or water ingress.
A lifeboat towed the vessel to Port Edgar Marina before it was stood down.
RNLI Queensferry Lifeboat added: "The lifeboat launched and made best speed to the reported location. Once on scene, a crew member was placed aboard the vessel to assess the situation. It was found that the casualties were fit and well, and the vessel had not suffered any d
