NEW RICHMOND, Ohio (WXIX) - A 61-year-old woman is under arrest on a murder charge in connection with a shooting in New Richmond overnight, jail records show.

Shelly Jean McGlone was booked into the Clermont County Jail early Wednesday.

She is scheduled to appear at 10 a.m. in Clermont County Municipal Court.

First responders were called to the shooting in the 1400 block of Indian Ridge Trail around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday.

They checked to see if a medical helicopter was available, but a man was pronounced dead shortly after, according to initial emergency communication reports.
