Justice Tim Armstead of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia died Aug. 26. On Sept. 2, friends, colleagues and West Virginia residents visited the West Virginia House of Delegates Chamber in Charleston to pay their respects and say goodbye.
Armstead, 60, previously served as speaker of the House and later on in the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.
Entombment will be at Elk Hills Memorial Mausoleum in Charleston, according to his obituary.
Chief Justice Bill Wooton also declared Tuesday a Day of Mourning for offices in the state judicial system.
