More than 1,000 free Powerball tickets are up for grabs Wednesday in Chicago as part of a "ticket grab challenge" ahead of the game's record-breaking drawing Wednesday night, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The event, lottery officials say, is in celebration of the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot in history, coming in at a whopping $1.3 billion.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the lottery will set up a "Ticket Grab Machine" at Hyde Park Station & Car Wash, located at 5130 S. Lake Park Ave. Participants will have the chance to step inside a glass box and, "for a few thrilling seconds," grab as many flying Powerball tickets as they can.
