MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Police are looking for thieves who stole a car over the weekend while it was still hooked up to a gas pump.
Memphis Police (MPD) said it happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday at a gas station near South Perkins and Knight Arnold roads in the Parkway Village neighborhood. The owner of a 2016 Nissan Maxima told investigators that his car was stolen at a gas pump.
Police said the thieves were in a gray Honda Civic or Accord when one of them jumped out and got inside the Maxima. MPD released surveillance footage showing the gas pump hose being yanked as the car drove away from the gas station.
