CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte mother is facing multiple charges after her child died of a fentanyl overdose, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

WCNC Charlotte has obtained an arrest warrant for Hallie Ingram, who is charged with murder and negligent child abuse in the death of her 9-month-old daughter Cheyenne.

She is accused of knowing exposing the child to fentanyl resulting in an overdose "by grossly negligent omission in care."

She was arrested Tuesday, and had her first court appearance Wednesday morning. Her bond was set at $600,000, and her next court date was scheduled for Sept. 24.
