Twenty-three years after it turned fairy-tale stories on their head, Shrek is ready to return to cinemas with its fifth movie in 2027, as well as another spinoff movie which will be focused on Eddie Murphy’s Donkey. However, before that, the first three Shrek movies have returned to Netflix with an ogre’s roar and taken over the streamer’s Top 10 over Labor Day weekend.
