Detectives have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a sexual assault on a teenage girl on a bus in west London.

Officers were scrambled as the vehicle pulled into a stop outside the Treaty shopping centre in Hounslow at about 5.10pm on August 16.

The bus driver reported that a man had sexually assaulted the girl on the 235 service before getting off in Feltham.

The man police want to find has dark wavy hair and was wearing sunglasses, a light coloured t-shirt with a print on the back, and shorts. He was carrying a backpack.

A police statement said: ‘Police were called following reports a 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on the 235 bus travelling from Hounslow to Sunbury.’

No arrests have been made, the Met added.
