Michigan is home to a pair of cities ranked among the nation's top retirement spots , according to a recent survey by a national personal financial company.
Grand Rapids ranked No. 73 and Detroit No. 166 among best places to retire, according to the report by WalletHub, which ranked the retirement-friendliness of 182 U.S. cities.
The ranking considered factors such as affordability, health care, activities and quality of living for the respective cities, WalletHub explained.
"It’s important to choose wisely when picking where to retire, as many retirees are on a fixed income.
