Community council and local residents team up to oppose Ayr short term let proposal

An application to turn a ground floor flat on Ayr’s South Harbour Street into short term let accommodation is being met with opposition. ‌

The proposals relate to a property at 3 Marlborough Court, where the applicant, Lisbeth Kirsop, hopes to be granted permission for the venture. ‌

South Ayrshire Council’s Regulatory Panel (Planning) will scrutinise the proposal at their meeting on Thursday, September 11. ‌

The committee is being recommended to approve the change of use scheme - with conditions.

However, residents nearby - and a community council - have objected to the plan.
