Is the NFL — and Swifties everywhere — ready for it?
During an appearance Wednesday on the “Today” show, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell didn’t do much to quell chatter over the possibility of the newly engaged Taylor Swift performing in the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show.
“We would always love to have Taylor play. She is a special, special talent, and obviously she would be welcome at any time,” Goodell said when asked by co-host Savannah Guthrie if the pop superstar is invited to play at Super Bowl 2026 in Santa Clara, Calif., next February.

When pressed if a performance is “in the works,” Goodell replied, “I can’t tell you anything about that,” before relenting that it’s a “maybe.”
