PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- "Creativity changes everything" is the motto of a local non-profit working to help youth gain life skills through creative outlets.
Portland-based Caldera was founded in 1996 and has grown to include an arts center in Sisters.
The organization is among the many non-profits taking part in The Standard Volunteer Expo on Thursday, September 4th, at Pioneer Courthouse Square in Downtown Portland.
Caldera executive director Kimberly Howard Wade and board member Tonia Jones joined us on AM Extra to share how their programming builds confidence, connection, and a deeper sense of self.
