CHARDON, Ohio (WJW) -- A Geauga County grand jury has indicted a man who reportedly confessed to shooting and killing his ex-wife, with whom he shared five children.
Steven A. Kurzinger, 36, of Willowick, is now facing felony counts of aggravated murder, murder and having weapons while under disability, Geauga County court records show.
Residents of Irma Drive reported hearing shots at about 9 p.m. on June 25, and seeing a silver vehicle leaving the scene, according to Chardon police.
Responding officers found the woman, later identified as 37-year-old Alexandria Kurzinger, on the steps of an Irma Drive home, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
