AUGUSTA, Ga. — Powerball officials have increased the jackpot for Wednesday night’s lottery drawing to an estimated $1.4 billion.
The jackpot ranks as the fourth largest in the Powerball game and the sixth largest among U.S. lottery jackpot games.

Any player who wins the $1.4 billion jackpot will have the choice of receiving the full prize amount in 29 annual payments or a lump-sum payment estimated at $634.3 million.
This comes after no one matched all six winning numbers in Monday’s drawing.
