MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man is now in jail after police say he was involved in a disturbance outside of a Memphis Shelby County Elementary School on Wednesday morning.
Officers say they were called to Levi Elementary School on 135 Levi Road regarding a disturbance, a little after 10 a.m.
A man was found at the scene and identified as Jalen Howze. According to police, Howze had an arrest warrant for criminal trespassing.
At that time, Howze was arrested and taken to jail.
Just five days ago, the elementary school was placed on lockdown after police said shots were fired in the area.
It is still unclear what caused the disturbance. But this story will be updated as more details become available.
