SPRING, Texas (KTRK) -- In August, Chung Ho of Seattle made a special trip to hand-deliver a Klein High School ring, sparking a mystery in the community.
Klein ISD posted photos of the 1964 ring on Facebook asking for help in finding the owner or the next of kin. It ignited a flurry of theories, but today, the original owner remains a mystery.
Ho told district officials that her brother was given the ring in Germany and has been in her family's possession in Vietnam for more than four decades. Her father said it was time for the ring to make its way home.
Steve Baird is a historian for Klein ISD and is actively searching for the person who first wore the ring. As of now, he doesn't believe the ring belonged to a student.
