BOWLING GREEN — National Alliance on Mental Illness Wood County is hosting three programs for loved ones of individuals who have served or are currently serving in the military.
In the first, anyone can learn to save a life from suicide by using the three steps of QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer, organizers said. The training teaches how to recognize warning signs and how to respond. It will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the NAMI office, 1250 Ridgewood Dr.
NAMI Homefront addresses the needs of family, caregivers, and friends of those who have served or are currently serving. Its classes will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 13, 20, and 27 via Zoom.
