Music journalist Chris DeVille will discuss his book, Such Great Heights: The Complete History of the Indie Rock Explosion, Thursday in Perrysburg.

Adam Marier will lead the conversation with Mr. DeVille about the height of indie rock, and other music topics. The author talk takes place at 7 p.m. at Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Ave.

Mr. DeVille, who is from Columbus, is the managing editor at Stereogum, where he has written extensively about the full spectrum of indie music for 12 years. In 2014, he launched The Week In Pop, a column exploring mainstream music from an indie fan’s perspective, and he has profiled bands.
