Motorcyclists who fled police in Spokane under investigation

SPOKANE, Wash. - Two motorcyclists are under investigation after performing stunts and fleeing Washington State Patrol troopers in Spokane.

Troopers said the riders were seen on U.S. Highway 2 near Wellesley Avenue before taking off eastbound. One motorcyclist ran a stop sign and two red lights before getting away.

Officers did not chase the motorcycles, but one was later found abandoned in an apartment parking lot, officials said. The second rider circled the area and fled from law enforcement several times.

The case remains under investigation.
