Ismael Agreda and a pair of relievers held the Columbia Fireflies to just three hits, but an unearned run did in the Hickory Crawdads in a 1-0 defeat Sunday night at Segra Field.

Hickory (65-60 overall, 32-28 second half) put together just four hits in the game.

Columbia’s Hiro Wyatt (2-7) allowed just two hits over five innings and struck out five, leading the Fireflies to their 10th shutout of the season.

Agreda matched Wyatt by allowing two hits over five innings while striking out four. However, an error in the fourth cost Agreda (3-5) the lead and the Crawdads the game.
