NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches Christian Women’s Job Corps has moved into a new building just in time for the fall semester.
The two-story building at 903 North St. features classrooms, offices and a kitchen, a big upgrade from their previous location on Pearl Street.
NCWJC Executive Director Jasmine Hassan said the organization is excited about the “encouraging and amazing space where we can be able to expand one day."
The CWJC helps women with professional skills training and job preparation, in addition to faith-based support and mentorship.
This is Hassan’s first year on the job, and her third class. The CWJC started with four graduates in fall 2024, but increased that to 10 students last semester. Hassan said they saw 35 applications of interest for the fall 2025 prog
